Welcome to my Studio Setting!

I am so excited for you to come and experience the comfy space we created for you and your family.

Our Studio Setting is scheduled when you book your appointment slots, so locations vary but are usually in Unity or the Greater Bangor Area!

The studio setting offers a variety of square footage of special items that include a portable photography studio that includes balloons,

props, clothing, hats, headbands, wraps, backdrops, buckets, baskets, beds, benches, stools and so much more to choose from for your session.

You can choose the theme, scene and colors of your sessions by letting us know in the form sections!

Relax with a hot cup of coffee or tea while I wrap your baby for their Newborn Session,

photograph your little one’s Cake Smash, Mini-Session or Bundle package.

We offer a private bathroom for clothing changes during Maternity or Family sessions and a comfy chair to feed your baby in.

This is a stress-free zone!

While your little ones wait for their turn, there are coloring books, magazines to looks at as well as having the choice of a variety of photobooks to choose from.

To be honest sometimes after setting up for a session I just sit and relax and enjoy music with a cup of tea while I wait for the fun to start!

I look forward to our time together whether it is for a Milestone Session,
Newborn, Maternity, Family, Cake Smash or a fun Mini Session.

I hope to see you soon!

When should I schedule my baby’s one year session?

The best time to book this type of session is at 9 months, and then the plan to bring your baby in for their one-year session is at 11 months. This allows time for me to get backgrounds, props, and outfits, and have the cake for your scheduled date. I will also have ample time to edit a few photos and get them right back to you so you can print invitations for their party. Also, he or she may not be walking and as mobile but if they are walking typically, they love the cake so much that they won’t want to leave it!

What type of clothing should my baby wear?

I have some outfits that may match the setup available in my client's closet. or may have to order it. The first photos are usually in an outfit or dress that matches the colors that you prefer and are done before the cake. A romper or short sleeve and shorts are best for the cake smash so you can see the frosting mess on their arms, legs, and feet. Please ask what is available in your baby’s size and I can have ample time to receive them.

What should I bring to the session?

You will most definitely get messy too, so a change of clothes for whomever is helping me with your baby. Some outfits for him or her unless I have them already, and what you prefer for a drink to wash down cake is always helpful. Your baby will get all cleaned up in the bath and I have plenty of towels for you to use. Don't forget any personal hygiene items for yourself and the baby. A small bag should suffice.

How do I choose a theme and color?

Choosing a theme and color can be fun and overwhelming. It helps to think about what your baby loves to play with, watch, and do. Some parents choose a color scheme that will go well printed to be displayed on walls in their home that is very neutral and is simple for me to set up. Scour Pinterest that speaks to you. You can share those with me to my phone.

Do I bring my own cake?

You do not; a one-tier cake is included. with a cake smash, milestones, and bundle session. You can decide on fun flavors such as chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry and we can dye a vanilla cake to match the setup. You can choose from a simple white cake, a naked cake, a fun cake that has stripes, or a sprinkled confetti cake. Again, scour Pinterest for something you love that goes along with your theme. Have fun looking! You can share the Pin to my phone!

Can I bring siblings or other family members to the session?

It's not recommended that you bring siblings unless they are much older and can sit quietly. The goal is to have your baby looking and smiling at the camera and me. Sometimes an older sibling or a grandparent (I know because I am one too!) can distract the baby and they look at them the whole time. The fewer people there are, the less distracted your baby will be so those photos will look great. I do not encourage you to record a video or take behind-the-scenes photos to share with family members. because that can also be distracting in itself! You will be able to download and share your online gallery with family and friends!

How long will I have to download my images?

When you come to your session I have you sign a Print Release that has a one-year retention policy. That means you have up to a year to download your images and get them on a hard drive or thumb drive that you own. The images will always be in the gallery and if you lose your link or email, I will be happy to resend it to you!
